Welcome to the Sista's Scrap Too! second blog hop!
Though this is my first time hopping along, I heard that the Sista's had so much fun with the first hop that it was decided to do a hop once a quarter. This is the hop for the first quarter of 2011 and we are glad you decided to join us! We have 13 designers working on our theme for this hop, which is none other than Valentine's Day. We've put a twist on it, asking the designers to use the colors red, black, and white in their designs. We can't wait to show you what we've come up with! Some of the Sistas went the traditional route and used traditional colors for their projects. What would craftin' be without creativity and diversity?! We know you'll enjoy what lies ahead on the hop route!!

Now for my project! You all know by now that I LOVE creating ATCs...well I have been at it again and created Valentines Day ATCs for a swap I am part on with the Ladies from
Crop Chocolate! If you haven't heard about Crop Chocolate it is a

| Here are some close-ups. I did a number of techniques here. For the Card on the left, I first embossed the cardstock with a cuttlebug folder from the "Love is in the Air" set, then I painted the entire card with red acrylic paint dabber by Ranger and let it dry, I then inked over the painted image with silver pigment ink by Colorbox. I heat set everything, added bling and stickles and let dry. For the card on the right I took some thin burlap string, tied a bunch of knots in it and cut it into strips, I then attached it to the heart and adhered it with glue to the back of the heart. I made the sentiment on my computer and ran the paper through my printer. |

| For the candy box and treats, I used Disney "Love Always" Cuttlebug die and embossing folder set and first cut out the shapes and embossed on it. I then inked over the raised image and adhered to the ATC card. I pop dotted the red candy box for some dimension. I then spelled out the words "sweets for my sweet" with the DYNAMO label maker and added it to the card. |

| For this ATC I used the mini Heart and wings punch by EK Success and punched out the hearts out of different paper and the wings white. I then added adhesive to the red heart and all the wings with my Xyron "X" create a sticker maker and added white and red fun flock to the shapes to make it fuzzy. I added the hearts and wings pop dotted to the card and added bling and wrote out in red stickles the phrase "My Heart Flutters for You" Well the word "heart" is implied. |

| Last but not least, for this ATC, I printed a valentine bingo game card really tiny, and outlined the word BING in black diamond stickles. I added a large red bling for the "O" and added a small punched heart in the middle and some black pom pom ribbon to the bottom. |
