This is my ATC (Artist Trading Card) titled "SPRING" that I created for a swap on Urban Scrappers. This is my first time doing ATCs...it was fun creating this...but WOW a challenge to work in a 2.5" by 3.5" space!!! I used GBS for the shapes, Storybook for the butterfly and the word "spring". I also got over my fear of glimmer mist and misted the patterned paper gold and the misted the flowers colors to compliment the color of the flower ( I know it is hard to see the shimmer and glitter in the pic). I stamped the flourish streaming away from the butterfly a warm red...from my colorbox chalk inks..and embossed the mat under the word spring with the Swiss dots.
Here is a pic of all the ones I made in the series...
For the second ATC swap the theme was Celebrate and this was the first thing to pop in my head! I used a number of techiques on these...from embossing to inking, glossy accents, crackle accents and matte accents! It was a lot of FUN! I enjoyed creating this!
I Absolutely LOVE this picture of The Obama's They look SOOO in love!

I love these! TFS!
I love this!! Love it!! I've been saving pictures and articles to create a HUGE scrapbook on "Our First Black President/The Obama's". I haven't created my first LO on that project yet, I want everything to be perfect:)
Thanks Ladies! Yes Ki! I have almost EVERY news paper I could get my hands on of the event! I even ordered The Chicago paper and had it mailed to me! LOL! That is a good idea! I never thought about creating a scrapbook of the event...but back then I was not into scrapbooking. I just got started this January! Thanks for the idea!
